Boston technology company welcomes industry veteran with deep supply chain, analytics, and SaaS experience

Boston, MA — November 13, 2018 — Spoiler Alert, the leading provider of tech-enabled solutions that help food businesses reduce the financial impact of unsold inventory, has announced the addition of Art Dirik, formerly the Chief Customer Officer of Profitect, as Vice President of Customer Success.

Dirik brings more than 25 years of customer-centric experience within the supply chain software, retail analytics, and professional consulting industries, working with leading Fortune 500 companies, including Ahold Delhaize, Carrefour, Walgreens, Wendy's, ASDA, IBM, and DuPont. He will join the company’s leadership team to drive continued value for Spoiler Alert’s customers and partners.

Before joining Spoiler Alert, Dirik was the Chief Customer Officer at Profitect, a provider of SaaS-based prescriptive analytics tools for retailers. At Profitect, he built and scaled their customer success team and processes during a period of 200+ percent year-over-year growth and achievement of numerous industry awards, including ranking #1 on the Retailer Info Systems (RIS) Leaderboard. Previously, Dirik served as Vice President of Technology and Product Leadership at Nielsen, where he was responsible for leading the Global Assortment and Merchandising Solutions business segment, and Senior Vice President at IRI, where he led Customer Loyalty Analytics SaaS Operations for food retailers and CPG manufacturers. Dirik also spent time leading large-scale enterprise supply chain, transportation, and logistics solution implementations at Demantra (acquired by Oracle in 2006) and i2 Technologies (acquired by JDA Software in 2009). Dirik holds an MBA and Master's in Information Systems from Boston University, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
