Spoiler Alert Wins 2026 Bronze Stevie® Award for Building Sustainable Supply Chains
Company recognized for transforming excess inventory into value across the supply chain
BOSTON, MA — May 4, 2026 — Spoiler Alert has been named a Bronze Stevie® Award winner in the Building Sustainable Supply Chains category at the 24th Annual American Business Awards®.
Spoiler Alert was recognized for its mission to expand consumer access to affordable everyday essentials by unlocking the value in surplus CPG inventory—creating measurable benefits for businesses, consumers, and the environment.
Since launching its platform in 2015, Spoiler Alert has facilitated nearly $6 billion in product sales and helped move over 2 billion pounds of inventory, keeping usable goods out of landfills while improving financial outcomes for brands. The company has also enabled more than 25 million pounds of food donations through nonprofit partnerships, including a collaboration with Land O’Lakes recognized by Fast Company’s 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards for increasing food donations fivefold in a single year.
Building on this momentum, Spoiler Alert introduced Spoiler Alert iQ in 2025, adding intelligent tools that help CPG liquidation leaders price proactively, negotiate faster, and drive stronger recovery outcomes. Customers report up to a 46% increase in buyer response rates, more than 35% improvement in cost recovery, and over 300 hours saved annually per user.
The Stevie Award adds to a strong year of industry recognition for Spoiler Alert, which was also named No. 7 in Logistics on Fast Company’s 2026 Most Innovative Companies list.
“When brands have the intelligence, transparency, network, and control to act on excess inventory as an opportunity, everyone wins—the supplier, the retailer, the consumer, and the planet,” said Ricky Ashenfelter, CEO and Co-Founder of Spoiler Alert. “This recognition reflects the work our team puts in every day to reduce waste and deliver real value across the supply chain.”
More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
“Organizations across the United States continue to set a high standard for innovation and performance,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller. “The breadth and quality of nominations submitted to the 2026 American Business Awards reflect a dynamic and competitive business environment. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie Award winners and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at our June 9 awards ceremony in New York.”
