Spoiler Alert named to Food Logistics' 2018 Top Green Providers List

Boston, MA — June 20, 2018 — Today, Spoiler Alert announced that it has been named to the 2018 Top Green Providers list by Food Logistics magazine. Food Logistics is the only publication dedicated to covering the movement of product through the food supply chain and highlighting innovators that are advancing the industry.

Every year, Food Logistics’ annual Top Green Providers list recognizes companies whose products, services, or exemplary leadership is enhancing sustainability within the food and beverage industry. According to the publication, this year’s list is made up of technology companies, 3PLs, and cold storage providers, including Americold and NSF International. Past award winners include Tyson Foods, Mars, and United Natural Foods.

The past year saw significant growth in Spoiler Alert’s work within the food distribution industry, with a customer base spanning food processing, wholesale distribution, and e-commerce. Earlier this year, Spoiler Alert announced the results of its ongoing partnership with HelloFresh, the world’s leading meal-kit provider. By working with Spoiler Alert, HelloFresh doubled the percentage of unsold inventory donated to hunger relief organizations, while reducing landfill-bound waste 65 percent at one of its distribution facilities.
